I am happy to learn that Marie Curie School, Dhaka which has been named after the celebrated Nobel Prize Winning Scientist Marie Curie has made a name for itself through the hard and dedicated work of its Principal, Vice-Principal and teachers and I congratulate all of them) on this occasion.
In this connection, I would like to point out that Marie Curie was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She fought hard in life, overcame poverty and established herself as a world ranking scientist. t would be very happy if, in her honour, Marie Curie School introduces some stipends for at least a few poor but meritorious students for whom access to good private schools becomes difficult. I would request the school authority to appeal to the richer sections of the society to create a Marie Curie Talent Fund for poor students. I myself would like to make a token contribution to this Fund.
Finally, I pray to the Almighty that he guides the students of this ideal institution to Knowledge cum Value based future. Wish Marie Curie School all success in its journey.
